Hobgoblin's Magic! Why is drinking beer so good when watching football?

The Euro2020 final is going to kick off soon. Whether you support Italy or England, you can't only drink water while watching it, can you?

Many people always drink a few glasses when they are watching sports matches. Why? No one can give you an affirmative answer. However, according to a survey conducted by The Harris Poll, a US market research company, nearly 84% of people who watch football games consume alcohol, which is the highest ranking in all sports games.

Football (84%), baseball (78%), hockey (62%), car racing (66%), horse racing (62%), basketball (60%), and boxing (56%) will drink alcohol when watching sports matches.

No matter what kind of alcohol you are drinking, you can't always drink strong alcohol, such as whisky, to get yourself into the situation so quickly, right? Therefore, beer should be considered the best choice. According to The Harris Poll, beer drinkers still account for most, especially 75% of people who drink beer while watching football!

Football (75%), baseball (70%), car racing (55%), and hockey (51%). Beer also tops the list, though to a lesser extent, for basketball (48%), boxing (39%), beach volleyball (25%), and golf (17%) will drink beer when watching sports matches.

Hobgoblins

How to choose a good beer is perhaps the most critical preparation before watching the game. Hobgoblin, a craft beer from the United Kingdom, uses barley and wheat malt and blends various hops. It is your indispensable partner when watching the game, especially the final of Euro2020. Besides, perhaps this summer, the following Hobgoblins are the best partners to accompany you to watch sports events.

Hobgoblin Gold

ABV:4.5% / 2017 WBA Gold

Hobgoblin Gold is the latest beer carrying the little fella’s moniker, and while Gold might be lighter in colour, it’s definitely no lightweight. A combination of hop varieties & an infusion of wheat and malted barley has resulted in the perfect golden beer – with a huge hop punch

This collision of Old and New World hops provide an explosion of tropical aroma and a juicy bitterness. Born out of character.

Hobgoblin Ruby

ABV:5.2%

Traditionally craft brewed with Chocolate & Crystal malts and a blend of Styrian, Goldings & Fuggles hops to produce a full-bodied, Ruby beer that delivers a delicious chocolate toffee malt flavour, balanced with a rounded moderate bitterness and an overall fruity, mischievous character.

King Goblin Imperial Ruby

ABV:6.6%

A full, rich, sublimely fruity & satisfying indulgent beer; a beer for the connoisseur of the finer things.
